How can I build a ring with stone I already have? - peridot earrings

My husband bought me peridot earrings for my birthday a few years ago. I lost a bit of traffic and want to save the dam of stone yet, it was the first piece of jewelry he had bought. I wish that the stone in a ring or chain. How do I do that? Is there going to be a good side. Thanks for any help or suggestions. :)
